O2 Apollo, Manchester

Live Nation appointed ZSpace to project manage, design and space plan their new WC's in the iconic Grade II listed building home to the 02 Apollo Theatre.

The former cinema was built in 1938 which now holds a  capacity of around 3,500 people who flood the stands to enjoy live music.

As you can imagine, the WC's are continuously used throughout each show which paved the way for a hard-wearing yet design lead specification.

Throughout the 1900's the WC's had been remodeled and refurbished without much consideration for the buildings 'Art Deco' roots.

At the highest point of the auditorium, two untouched WC's remain with Art Deco style tiling and design.

ZSpace took responsibility in appreciating the buildings heritage and incorporated a modernised Art Deco style by coupling white tiles with a black boarder.
